I’m always excited when I have the opportunity to write for other partners at Women’s Outdoor News. The following are some of my other posts at The WON for 2023.

What began as a brief discussion in the STAG Arms booth during the 2023 SHOT Show in Las Vegas came to fruition the week of June 12. I, along with three other women in outdoor media, joined three female members of Stag Arms’ marketing team to eradicate prairie dogs from an appreciative landowner in Torrington, Wyoming. It was the official Stag Arms Inaugural Ladies Prairie Dog Hunt, and it was a resounding success.

One evening, as we were chatting during the ladies prairie dog hunt, the matter of the benefits of hunting came up, which inspired the topic of this article. As a group, we decided it’s important to share with non-hunters how hunting benefits everyone.

They came, they saw, and they conquered. Discover what happened at the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) National Championship, which hosted 3,131 athletes at its annual event in July at the Cardinal Shooting Center in Marengo, Ohio.

Continuing with a hunting theme, I took it a step further and explored how hunting connects families and communities.

In this article, I aim to convince you of the validity of some individuals choosing revolvers for personal protection and provide guidance on how to set them up for success.
